php/MySQL form inside Javascript - is it possible?

I've got a javascript show/hide script containing a php form posting to MySql. When I press submit I get "forbidden" message. Anybody know if it possible to do this or do I have to find another way?

yes... it's do-able. do a search on the term "AJAX" to find your answer.
