I'm completely new to coding website layouts, and pretty much know just the basics. I've decided to go a little further and make a more organized and better looking layout for my fansite. My problem is that I can view my layout in IE with little to no flaws, but to view it on any other internet browser it's distorted. The sidebar shows spaces between the top, middle, and bottom of some of the boxes; the text is off to the left of the boxes; and on the content column the top image is smaller than it should originally be.
I would appreciate any help that anyone could give me. It's probably something simple, but as I mentioned above, I'm a beginner.
